A remote mountain village in the north of Pakistan, on the shore of a turquoise blue lake, surrounded by rugged rock faces. One day, the river was blocked by a landslide, and within a few months the river grew into a 30 km long lake. Numerous houses and fields were flooded, villages were destroyed and their people displaced. What has remained are the people and their stories, passed down from one generation to the next.
