Switzerland is an over-exploited country. Thousands of animal and plant species are threatened with extinction. But there is also another Switzerland, where forests can grow unhindered and become a new wilderness. Animals, which had been extinct for a long time, now come back. Bears, wolves, bearded vultures, and maybe soon even the biggest mammal of Europe, the wisent. Reno Sommerhalder, the Swiss-Canadian bear man, is looking for intact nature.
