The former Russian engineer Andrey writes letters to „his beloved Olga…“ in the far away St Petersburg. Traveling across the breath-taking wide lands of Kamtchatka on horseback, on skis or in cars, Andrey experiences the change of the seasons and the wildlife, with its hot springs, volcanoes, giant reindeer herds and wild bears. This land is full of inspiration for the philosopher and inspires him to play sad but also joyful songs on his guitar.
