In the Swahili language „Mbuzi Dume“ means “speedy goat”. The African mountain guides have awarded this nickname to Tom Belz when he was climbing the Kilimanjaro. When he was a child, Tom lost his left leg, and since then, he needs crutches. Meanwhile he has brought walking with crutches to perfection. Nevertheless, he never would have dreamed of ever seeing a sunrise on the summit of Kilimanjaro. This challenge is as well a symbol for all kinds of obstacles one has to overcome in life.
