In the Chinese province Yunnan, on the border to Tibet, there is the Baima Snow Mountain Range. At an altitude of more than 3,000 m, the local people and animals have to prove their endurance, their strength and their will power in order to survive. The Baima Snow Mountain Range is one of the most mystic and most inaccessible regions on our planet, full of a breath-taking beauty and of extreme contrasts. Here, everyday life is a true challenge for the people, as well as for rare animal species, such as the snub-nosed monkeys. Their struggle of survive has not been won yet.
