Lobende Erwähnung 2019

He became world famous in 1996, when he achieved the fastest climb ever of the north route to the summit of Mount Everest. Afterwards, he was the first one ever who succeeded in skiing down from the highest summit on earth. However, in 1991 Hans Kammerlander had to experience his most painful tragedy on the Manaslu (8,133 m) in Nepal, where he lost two of his best friends. Karl Großrubatscher fell from the mountain, the reasons are unknown, and Friedl Mutschlechner, who was just beside him, was killed, by a strike of lightening. Hans had survived this mountain thunderstorm, on the edge of madness. Now he is back to face up with his trauma on Manaslu.
