With split boards and headlamps, five snowboarders set off, in the polar night, to the mountains around Tromso, in search for insight without daylight. The protagonists hike and climb between steep couloirs and powder in the birch forests under the northern lights, where thoughts have space to develop. The locals Melissa, Eirik and Krister are used to the long darkness above the Polar Circle, whereas for Hampus and Manuela, who have won the Free Ride World Tour in 2018, this is a completely new experience.
