Due to the special location of the tropic island Borneo, here one can find an incomparably rich nature and a great number of biological curiosities. The Orang-Utans live here, as well as the smallest bears on earth, deadly plants and jellyfish, which cultivate algae. Borneo is unique. No other territory on earth has been so long in the tropic latitude like Borneo, that means: more than 100 million of years. Whereas other parts of the earth crust have moved along the longitudes, Borneo has, due to a catenation of geological coincidences, always stayed near the equator.
