- The Nanga Parbat is the most western pillar of the Himalayas and is a focus of interest not only in the German speaking world but also in the Netherlands. Every year, a few of these non-alpine nations dedicate themselves to extreme goals. Whether they find success, this is a field of extreme tension between illusion and reality. This film describes the story of a group of top Dutch alpinists who proved that one of their partners damaged the credibility of alpine reports by indicating wrong dates about a supposed solo summit victory without presenting any logical evidence.
