- “We want to have days where, in the morning, we don’t know the reward of the evening”, says an 80-year-old hiker, who drinks his cup of tea in the kitchen and will go down to the valley and return again... The alpine hut Karlsbaderhütte at an altitude of 2,200 m in the Lienzer Dolomites is a meeting point for hikers, climbers and mountain philosophers. This film accompanies very different individuals to this meeting point, where we also learn about their fates.
