Their idea is simple: For five days, the musician Peter Stannecker, the mountain guide Stefan Rusch and the filmmaker Tom Dauer intend to cross the Allgäu Alps on skis, without knowing where this traverse will end. Their game has only one rule. Every day, the mountaineers will decide spontaneously, across which summits and along which valleys their track will lead. From sunrise till dark they are on their way. They achieve exhausting traverses, climb through vertical faces and ski down amazing skiing slopes. On their spontaneous search for accommodation, they end up in mountain huts, cable car stations or on snow-covered summits. Their chain of adventures becomes a dense Alpine road movie, with the magic backdrop of the mountains. A landscape of a sublime beauty, which makes the protagonists more than once speechless.
