The work is like a relic from the past centuries, silent, but full of energy. The horses seem to originate from another world, with a powerful energy, yet emanating a deep calm. This film accompanies one of the last group of woodworkers, who still use horses for the wood transport. This work is now being taken over by machines and helicopters. The symbiotic woodwork of men and animals in the winter forests of the Engadin, is part of a working and living rhythm, which nowadays seems to become forgotten and lost. But there is still hope, thanks to the “Forza chaval”, the horsepower.
