A group of people of different ages try to abandon the constraints of modern civilisation and to live in harmony with nature. However, in the picturesque idyllic mountains of the Lavizzara Valley in Ticino, more and more conflicts pop up: how much technology is desirable and how much abstinence is possible? How many compromises with the modern world are tolerable? When the documentary focuses on the complicated simple life, another question arises: Will the ancient founders of this community succeed in transferring their lifework into the hands of the younger generation?
