When we are in a crisis, it is all natural that we doubt about our existence and the meaning of life. We suffer, and we want to change. Many Europeans search for the key of happiness in the eastern philosophies and meditations. The portrait of the young Tibetan-Buddhist monk Tenzin, who represents a new generation who deals with the arising questions of modern life, reveals his understanding of a universal human desire: the obsessive pursuit of happiness. This film breaks with the myth of the idealized happiness resulting from the traditional spiritual education and the rhythm of life in the monasteries of Nepal.
