Reinhard Karl was the first German on Mount Everest, Ralf Dujmovics has climbed all 14 eight-thousand meter peaks, partly together with Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner. The famous mountaineer couple Robert and Daniela Jasper are leading a guest through the Eiger north face. Also Heiner Geissler regained his strengths for his political work on the Palatinate climbing rocks. Short nights, blisters and heavy snowfall demand a great deal from a group of the German Alpine Club on the challenging Heilbronn track.
