This film relates the personal story of the boy Soldor from Tibet. Growing up in a time of rapid social changes, he dreams of a better life as a Sherpa. The upcoming Chinese middle class is ready to pay a lot of money for a mountain adventure. We accompany Soldor during one year, watching his education to become a mountain guide in the only Chinese mountaineering school in Lhasa.
