In 2012, Tamara Lunger has seen the 8,611m high K2 for the first time in front of her: bigger than ever imagined. Its sight alone was awe-inspiring. There is a reason, why the K2 is considered as the most dangerous 8,000m peak. More than 80 mountaineers have lost their lives there. Nevertheless, two years later, the 28-year old woman from South Tyrol sets off to Pakistan. Together with the alpinist Nikolaus Gruber, Tamara faces the biggest challenge of her mountaineering life on K2.
