With a totally new approach she attempts the hardest alpine routes, such as “End of Silence“ – opened by Thomas Huber, Stefan Glowacz’s „Des Kaisers neue Kleider“ and „Silbergeier“ by Beat Kammerlander. Due to their challenge and their beauty, those three extreme climbing routes are milestones of the alpine climbing sport, also known as the “Alpine Trilogy”. Barbara is the first woman who has succeeded in climbing this trilogy, an achievement which has also earned the deepest respect of the first climbers there.
