Nature and Environment
Since its foundation in 1885, the Banff National Park has always been a tourist attraction due to the impressive Rocky Mountains and their species. However, the yearly increasing numbers of visitors have already become a threat for the health of the rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. The interviewed people such as the mountain philosopher Benn Gadd, the snow boarder and adventurer Andrew Harding, the tourist guide Jeff Douglas and several staff members of the Canadian Forest authorities present the truly unique beauty of the Banff National Park. However, they also point out the increasingly more difficult task of finding the right balance between man and nature.
