Corsica offers more than only sun and beaches. The most mountainous island of the Mediterranean, whose summits are covered with snow until summer, offers a harsh living space for its animal dwellers. From its highest summits to its Mediterranean coast, unique animals which have become rare in Europe, or which show surprisingly different behaviour patterns, compared to their relatives on the continent live there.
