Marek Holeček and Zdeněk Hák, winners of the 2018 Piolet D’Or award for the “Satisfaction!” route on Gasherbrum I, push their luck in the Himalayas again. The two-kilometre wide northwest face of Chamlang that has not been overcome so far, and seven days that can result in conquering the non-essential as much as losing everything that matters in life. A documentary by Jan Šimánek brings both, an insight into the mountaineers’ personal lives, and a report about an extraterrestrial performance as well as its historical background, and addresses mountaineering as such.
