The only constant in nature is transformation. The traces of this continual transformation can be seen everywhere: in valleys, forests, swamps, mountains, even above the timberlines and on the highest summits. In the Triglav National Park in Slovenia and in the Julian Prealps National Park in Italy, nature has remained in its original agitated state. Numerous animal and plant species have their homeland there. Humans are part of nature, however not its centre.
