Wild water sports have a long tradition in the former Soviet Union. For Olaf Obsommer and his team, only one of the three most legendary rivers in the Pamir Mountains is still missing, the Muksu. The international expedition team have to carry their kayaks and equipment for 40 kilometres up to an altitude of 5,000 metres. After having acclimatized, their fantastic journey can start. The only exit from this impressive mountain range leads through the 88 km long Muksu gorges, underneath numerous 7,000 m summits.
