They are two closely related but nevertheless opposed protagonists: the wolf, a predator which maintains the health of nature, but also kills farm animals; and the cattle dog, which protects human property. Touching observations show us the growing-up of the dog puppy and the puppy-wolf, and they depict what the two unequal brothers can contribute to a new nature and wilderness conception in the 21st century in Europe.
