Climbing artists have been writing the story of the Three Peaks into the alpine history of the mighty rock faces Drei Zinnen since 1860. In 1869, Paul Grohmann was the first to stand on the summit of the Große Zinne, and since then, the development of rock climbing in the Dolomites has influenced the worldwide climbing styles. Film director Reinhold Messner tells their stories, in re-enactment scenes with original historic equipment, which show the achievements of that time particularly vividly.
