Although among all primates, the bonobos are the closest relatives of us humans, we barely know anything about them. They are said to be extremely peaceful in their community. Whereas other primates fight amongst each other and even kill, the bonobos solve their conflicts and quarrels through frequent sex. The scientist Leveda Cheng sets off into the deep jungle of the Democratic Republic of Congo in order to find out more about the extraordinary way of living of those rare animals.
