„Let nature be nature“, is the philosophy of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Despite massive opposition, this vision has become a ground-breaking showcase project. Because humans do not intervene in nature, a primeval jungle grows in the former commercial forests, hosting a unique eco-system and a refuge of biodiversity. People from all over the world come to this place. They are looking for answers to the question of why we need more wildlife nature and what we can learn from it, in order to preserve the forests in times of climate change for the future generations.
