An impressive mix of unknown pages of the Slovakian mountain climbing history and a difficult winter sportive challenge. Two young climbers try to connect some of the most difficult routes in the Tatras opened by the Slovakian climber Wieslaw Stanislawski. A young intellectual with the passion of mountain climbing. The Jury was impressed by the elaborate cinematographic storytelling and the technical achievement of the young climbers. Outstanding filming in the mountain and original editing of historical writings and pictures of Stanislawsky.

It was 90 years ago when a young Slovak student proved what was then unimaginable. Wieslaw Stanislawski climbed new and difficult routes in the biggest walls of the Tatras. With only a hemp rope around his waist, he climbed with unbelievable passion and desire. Today two friends venture out to follow Wieslaws quest. In harsh winter conditions, they set out to connect his routes. Through the mountains their thoughts are connected. In the breaking avalanches, in the first light of the day, they find Stanislawski's message: “If one does something from the bottom of his heart, he does it best.”
