How will future generations see our current lifestyle in about 50 years? The movie takes a look at our modern day world from the viewpoint of year 2065. Financial crises, shortage of resources, civil wars, waves of migrants, the threatening end of the old structures take place. Simultaneously natural crises rise to the surface and make fundamental changes within nature. But at the same time, we see young people, “Heroes of the future”, willing to change the world. With “Carrotmobs”, “Repair-Cafés”, internet campaigns and video art, they are trying to affect the future of Europe in a constructive and positive way.
