In the middle of march, „yellow 6“ has been caught by an avalanche and lost its life. The two national park rangers, Domenic Godly and Claudio Irniger, find the dead ibex and take off its GPS necklace. This is only one of their numerous works in the winter months. The park rangers are the only people who are allowed to walk through the winter silence of the Swiss national park, for all other persons the park is closed during winter season. By way of exception, the film team was authorised to accompany the guardians on their tours.
