For animals of this size, it’s not easy to find enough space needed in the more and more densely populated Asia. In the north east of Borneo, herds of elephants, sometimes consisting of more than a hundred animals, march along the river Kinabatangan. In some sections, the elephants enjoy pure wildlife, whereas in others, life becomes adventurous, for the elephants and humans. Because the grey giants are coming ever closer to what feels naturally acceptable to the neighbouring inhabitants.
