Again and again, wild bears keep wandering across the Alps to the north and on their way they roam through Switzerland. Not all Swiss are happy about this, because the big wild animals leave their marks along their trail: plundered beehives, scared hikers, killed domestic animals. Shepherds fear for their existence. It is quite probable that single bears might even reach Germany. Particularly the young males cover long distances when they search for a new territory. They might appear in Germany at any moment.
