Alpine huts are like oasis in rock and stone deserts. After a straining ascent, the hikers find a place to rest, to eat, to sleep and maybe from where they can climb even higher on the next day. They are places of desire, of an alpine romanticism, which is old fashioned and at the same time state-of-the-art. Whoever arrives here, feels truly happy, free, satisfied and has forgotten sorrows, at least a little bit. Huts are as well a place of conviviality. Correspondingly, the hosts are open-minded. These persons get up early and go to bed late at night. They really know how to tackle work. When the weather is bad, they have to stand it. When the weather is fine, they have to cook for the hungry mountaineers, they talk to them, listen to them, give them advice. Sometimes, when the weather is bad, they even have to set off to search for injured or missing climbers. Portrays of people and ambiances make us feel the strength of these persons, due to their inner and outer peace of mind. Also the hikers feel it, when they climb up there.
