After his successes on summits all over the world, Alexander Huber has chosen a new big goal: the rock face Wetterbockwand in the Berchtesgaden Alps, his homeland. It is a 300 m high, completely overhanging, rhombical rock wall on the east side of the Göll Mountain. Never before has anyone climbed this prominent face, which he has discovered from the balcony of his home, a mountain farm, where he has started work in agriculture. This film accompanies Alexander Huber during one summer and shows him struggling in the face, again and again, on his way to the first ascent, and, at the same time his life as a mountain farmer, which brings perspective to his life.
