The arrival of a young male brown bear in the border triangle of Austria, Slovenia and Italy, and his walk across the picturesque regions of the Karawanks and the Julian Alps, does not go unnoticed. Apart from unintended encounters with civilisation, his journey also shows a new view of smaller, not less impressive living beings. Not for nothing, a bear is known to be a “flagship species”, wherever he settles down, a rich biodiversity is guaranteed.
