The rhythm of nature beats in four-four time. Dominik Eulberg is not only a composer and techno DJ but also a huge bird lover and took inspiration from the whinchat; a songbird that has become increasingly rare in this part of Europe. This piece of music, in turn, inspired nature filmmaker Jan Haft to create a fascinating collage of close-ups and long shots. Set to a driving rhythm, this documentary shows the whinchat along with practically every representative of our domestic birds. The result is an impressive, moving and sometimes exhilarating piece of film.
