Italy in the spring of 2020, and the whole country is in quarantine, caught in the grips of the Covid 19 pandemic. Over the last four lockdown weekends, a group of journalists sets out to tell, in the form of a diary, what the mountains are like without hikers. They decide to follow only paths that are accessible to all and usually very popular among tourists and mountains lovers. To them, the mountains appear empty, silent, alienating. In a few cases, the trails are even guarded and closed for safety, while animals take the opportunity to return to the space that is now free from humans.
