Ever since childhood, Jean Maggi has suffered from an illness that makes walking, and thus a “normal” life, impossible for him. Time and again he suffers the psychological burden of discrimination. When he suffers a heart attack because of his unhealthy lifestyle, Jean completely reassesses his life. He takes up sports and his new handcycle affords him a hitherto unknown level of freedom. Finally, he has goals in life. One of these is to climb the world’s highest place that can be reached by bicycle. After months of training, he finally sets off for the Himalayas.
